Two websites, not one shared save slot

The address around the player is anomalouscoffeemachine3.org. The embedded source is anomalouscoffeemachine3.online. They are different browser origins. This portal has no integration for reading, exporting or restoring the source website’s game progress.

A frame appearing on this page does not make its data part of the surrounding page. MDN’s same-origin policy explanation ↗ describes the browser boundary. This is why a problem with a remote save cannot be fixed by a “restore” control on this wrapper: there is no such control here.

What Reload actually does

The portal’s Reload button replaces the existing frame with a fresh copy. It does not first ask the game to save, export a file or confirm that progress is safe. It also does not run a command to erase cookies or browser storage. Reloading may lose unsaved session progress, but it is not the same operation as clearing website data.

Fullscreen changes the surrounding display. It is not a save action. Original site opens the source website in another tab; do not assume that this new context will show the same progress or transfer it back. See the controls and loading guide for the three portal controls.

Before you reload, close a tab or change devices

  1. Keep the working tab open. Do not repeatedly reload while deciding what to do.
  2. Check the game’s own interface. If that exact build offers a save or export action, follow its instructions and confirm the result there. This article does not confirm that your build has either feature.
  3. Record the context. Note the date, browser, device, entry URL and any visible version label. “I played ACM3” is not enough to identify a build or storage context.
  4. Do not clear website data as a first step. A loading problem and a storage problem are not necessarily the same issue.
  5. Do not assume another browser or device shares progress. We have not verified a cloud-save account or a supported migration process for the embedded build.

If progress seems to be missing

Start with context checks rather than a reset. Are you using the same browser profile and device? Did you switch between the embedded view and a direct source tab, or between normal and private browsing? Has the remote build changed? These questions help describe the problem; they are not a promise that returning to an earlier context will recover a save.

If an earlier working tab is still open, leave it open while checking the source’s documentation. Avoid repeatedly switching privacy settings or deleting data to “find” a save. If the game provides a recovery option, use only instructions confirmed for that build.

For game-specific saving questions, start with HoruBrain’s release and support page ↗. The embedded website is a separate publisher; identify which entry and build you used. For a broken portal button or link, use the reporting route on About & source. Do not post private save files, account details or explicit screenshots in a public issue.

Cache and website data are different decisions

Cached downloads and stored website data are not interchangeable. Browser cleanup can remove stored data, and private-browsing data is normally temporary. Storage behavior also depends on the browser. MDN’s storage overview ↗ explains these general rules; it does not identify the saving method used by this game.

Before any cleanup, read which site and data categories your browser is about to remove. There is no backup facility in this portal, and we cannot promise recovery after deletion. The presence of analytics cookies or other portal data would not, by itself, demonstrate that game progress is saved. See Privacy & analytics for the surrounding page’s configuration.

What this guide has—and has not—verified

This article is based on the portal’s configuration and current button implementation, reviewed on , plus the browser references linked above. It is not a gameplay save-and-restore test.

  • Verified in portal code: the source is cross-origin, Reload replaces the frame, and the wrapper implements no game-save or backup integration.
  • Not verified: the embedded game’s storage API, autosave timing, export format, private-mode persistence, cross-device transfer or recovery procedure.
  • Version boundary: an update on the developer’s release page does not prove that the separate embedded website runs that same version.

Keep the original source’s age confirmation and restrictions intact. This is non-explicit technical help for an independent adults-only portal, not an official developer guarantee.
